Pizza Cat is the alias of Auckland DJ/producer Casey Farmer, who brings a range of jazzy hip hop, funky trip hop, early breaks and everything in between to the Auckland scene. Brought up on 90s hip hop, the Ninja Tune massive and more recently, Brainfeeder, she is to audiences what Encarta is to nerds. Dope.
Pizza Cat studies electronic music production at the Music Audio Institute of New Zealand, under the tutorage of local talents DJ CXL, Recloose and DJ Phillipa, and has begun building a public profile with a number of shows at Auckland’s Cassette Nine.
